NurturMe Review

I have a GREAT giveaway for those with babies or older kids who dont like veggies. Read on!

Visit NurturMe on facebook! NurturMe is the first and only certified-organic, all natural and gluten-free baby food made from nutrient-rich, quick-dried fruits and veggies.
I was sent three single serve packages by NurturMe Plump Peas, Crisp Apples, and Scrumption Squash.
Add water to the powder and you have easy and portable baby food for the diaper bag. Since little B is now 4 and a bit picky on which vegetables she will eat I added these to her normal foods.

The first sample I tried was the apple. I made oatmeal and added the apple packet. This is the texture when its poured in.

This is the oatmeal ready to eat.

I used the plump peas packet in pancakes and added a bit of chocolate baking powder to cover up the color. My daughter absolutely loved them.

I put the squash packet in homemade mac and cheese. I made the light cheese sauce and added it in at the end.

I absolutely love these packets. I wish I would have had these when my daughter was young. It would have eliminated the need to carry the glass jars of baby food or containers of homemade pureed food. This product is great for young kids who are finicky eaters also. I still put fresh veggies on my daughters plate, but this is a great way to sneak in extra nutrition without her knowing it.

NOW for the fun part of this post. A GIVEAWAY!!! NurturMe has generously offered up a LARGE gift pack of their product containing all 6 flavors!!

Remember I DO CHECK ENTRIES. I have had many people enter and not follow the blog/facebook. If you do not do that piece, your entry will be disqualified.

Gratitude for you Friday

I want to take a minute and thank you for being a reader. At the moment I have 15 blog followers and 6 facebook followers. I thank each and every one of you.
My family was supposed to go on a mini vacation on Monday. Our friends were going to be driving from Canada to meet us. This week the husband was in his martial arts class and got hit in the face with the bamboo stick. I wont go into the details, but his face swelled up and has been in the hospital for a day and a half. I am waiting to see if our trip will have to be postponed until he is better. I am so thankful he got to the hospital and was seen so quickly. This prompted me to do a post about gratitude and sharing it with those I love.

Today I am grateful for my friends and family, for my job, the ability to pay my bills, the services those bills provide, and my health. While this is certainly not everything, this is what comes to mind at the moment.

I try to say thank you to everyone and give a compliment to at least one person that I come in contact with each day. It can make you feel good and possible turn around somebody elses day. Have you ever paid for someone elses drink order at the local coffee house? A recent experience at the drive through for me was just that. I turned around and paid for the person behind me. I wonder how many cars behind me did the same? Could the person behind me have had an awful morning and lost a loved one, just got fired from their job, got a divorce, have cancer, fighting depression or on the verge of suicide? How do YOUR actions affect others? Have a positive attitude and give just a piece of yourself each day. In just a few seconds you could make someone else smile and turn their world around.

What are you grateful for and how do you show that? Do you keep a gratitude journal?

Promax Fit and Crisp Review

Happy Tuesday!
I hope you are well. I have a yummy review for you today.
Promax Fit' N Crisp.

I was sent two Vanilla Marshmallow and two Cinnamon Crunch to review. I was not paid for this review, just sent a few bars to voice my opinion on.

I opened the Vanilla Marshmallow first and my mouth instantly watered. Smelled a bit sweet.

These are very soft and had a texture of homemade Crispy rice treats. The bar itself wasnt sweet at all, but the drizzle had a kick of sweetness for those with a sweet tooth.

They have no artificial sweeteners or colors or high fructose corn syrup/corn sugar. These do have a combo of soy and whey protein as well as canola. So if you are avoiding soy protein, GMO, or canola.. these arent for you.

These 1.36 oz squares of goodness are 140 calories and packed with 13 grams of protein. They only have 8% saturated and 5% total fat. Their other bars are upwards of 300 calories so this is a nice light option.

The majority of their bars are certified Gluten free as well, with the exception of the Crunch.

Tuesday Facebook Day

Good Evening my loyal followers!!
I now have a facebook page!! I have a few product review/giveaway in the works! Share it so you can get in on the giveaways coming up!

This week B started ballet. She has been so excited since starting ballet that she rarely takes her slippers off and even slept in them last night. Luckily I have a backup pair JUST for class. She switching her gymnastics to the same studio and now has to have gymnastics leotards. ADORABLE. They look like mini olympic medalists.

I hope this week is wonderful.
