ZNaturalLife Deodorant review

Z Natural Life sent me a selection of their natural deodorants.

I have tried a plethora of natural deodorants only to find they don’t work for me personally. Of course anytime you switch from a standard deodorant (like those with aluminum), It will take your body time to adjust.  Everyone has different times, so be aware of that. I usually try a deodorant for a week to two weeks to see if it works and reapply if it doesn’t. I have also kept my old deodorant under my counter “just in case” for summer. In winter I can get by with deodorants not working well, but not during spring and summer.
Most of us know the dangers of chemical deodorants, especially those with aluminum. They can range from Alzheimers, dementia to cancer.

This dilemma is what started the quest for the makers of ZNaturalLife.  Deodorants have used similar recipes for years without much change. You can find solids, semi solids, crystals, paste, etc. ZNaturalLife believes in living naturally from the food we eat to the products that are used on your skin. I whole heartedly believe in this as we try to do the same.

ZNaturalLife conducted an in-depth search for effective, natural ingredients. They talked with companies in Europe and the USA along with reviewing many studies.

This is the perfect time to try it out with somewhat warm temps. ZLife deodorant is a cream type consistency that comes in a tube style container. I dislike putting deodorant on with my hands, so this makes me extremely happy. The Z Natural Life deodorant seems to absorb quickly and work well. I sweat a lot, so I tend to reapply mid-day. While its only starting to get warm now in the Pacific Northwest, I have noticed that I’m not smelling or perspiring a lot. The deodorant has no powder in it, but they do sell a separate body powder formula for those of us who need it. So far I haven't needed it in addition to the deodorant but its pretty easy to apply.

ZNatural Life deodorants are Cruelty free, vegan, and leaping bunny certified.

Winsor Pilates Review

Winsor Pilates sent me their Deluxe Kit. It comes with 8 DVD’s, Wellness guide, Elastic resistance Band, and weighted Gloves. Fitness expert Mari Winsor has made Pilates more popular and easier to obtain over the years. Now its in almost every fitness club you go to!

Check out my facebook Live video. Make sure to subscribe so you see when I'm live!

I tried Windsor Pilates years and years ago, and I remember it being great on the joints without much pain. Now I get to try them AGAIN as a middle aged woman with adult kids, an elementary aged kid, and grandkids.

I noticed a nice gentle workout that had a decent amount of resistance. This could be great for some rehab patients, as well as the inflexible, pregnant mamas, and even seniors. You can also buy different bands if you want to increase or decrease the resistance.

Now to have great results you have to do these workouts with consistency. Something I am TERRIBLE at. If you have pointers, please comment on this post. I NEED THEM.

First of all is the price point. We all know working out at home is tough. We shouldn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for great videos. This deluxe kit sells for $49.95. Seems reasonable with 8 videos and accessories. They also have the following available on Amazon (FREE shipping with amazon prime).

Their product page has several different systems that you can purchase.

I still remember the days where you purchase items over the phone and have to pay $100 over the phone in 3 installments and you wait patiently for the item, only to find out you hated them, and then couldn’t get customer service on the phone. THEN once you did, you got things cancelled and you were still charged the monthly installments and have to argue about them for months with multiple phone calls.  Luckily with the internet (yes, I remember life before the internet) things have changed a lot for consumers.

Secondly, are the workout and quality of products themselves. I found the products to be sound quality and they seem to be handling the workouts just fine. The workouts are nice and low impact which is great for anyone to do.  Everyone needs a bit of exercise to get their blood moving and their muscles stretched.

These testimonials are all celebrities, so I think that’s a bit interesting. I would like to see a way for customers to submit their own testimonials on the website so you can see unfiltered reviews.

EZStax organizing system review

EZSTAX is a product designed to help you tame those messy stacks of t-shirts and other items in your closet, dresser, suitcase or even paperwork on your desk!
We have no dressers and hang the majority of our clothes. Our closet is large, however, my sweet hubby has taken his shirts off the hangars. He agreed to give this system a try, just for you!

EZStax gives a folding guide to allow for the best fit in their system. If you look closely, you want the shirt to be as wide as the EZStax. This allows for less bulk and thickness within the tshirt.

I have found folding your shirts on the EZStax is the best way. It keeps the shirt wide and allows for less bulk. If you fold them too narrow, as you can see on the top of the stack, the system does not allow for the pieces to sufficiently fit in the other piece.

EZStax provides a way to stack your items and get to them easily without having to lift all your shirts up when looking for the right one. We all know that disrupting a pile of folded clothes can create a huge mess of t-shirts that we end up having to refold.

EZStax are clear, so you can find your items easier and they will match any d├ęcor or paint color. They help you stay organized and allow you to find any shirt you are looking for. Messy Desk?
EZStax can solve that too! EZStax is made from 100% recycled materials (YAY!) and is pretty lightweight. They are made in the USA and are available in two sizes.

I like the versatility of this product as you can use when traveling, and for the office as well. The only improvement I can see is that the interlocking piece at the top could be deeper to allow less precise folding.

Sugru Moldable Glue Review

Sugru sent me their home hacks pack. This is an air dry moldable rubber glue. These come in several mint size tins like the rebel tech kit.

You can buy them in packs of colors like black/white, black/white/grey, multi-colors, classic multi , or single colors like black, white, blue, brown, pink, red, and clear.

This is not the first chance I've had to use this product, so I didn't use their idea pamphlet.

For this project I used the silver grey Sugru on the hood strings of my coat. . The metal was secured by a few thin strings of thread and have fallen off.

With this pack of Sugru I replaced a missed zipperpull on my coat along with the strings for my coat.  I rolled up the product into 4 balls. I took one ball and took a small piece of and mashed it into the string to get it into the fibers. I then took 2 balls of Sugru and placed one on each side. I then gently squeezed them together while shaping the product around the string into the shape I wanted. Once air dried for at least 24 hours, you are good to go!

I wish I had pictures of the old projects I've done. Sugru has been used it for toy repair (I reattached Sven the moose's head), Toothbrush holder hooks, cabinet door bumpers, bumpers for a vase bottom, replace a missing dice, to secure a ribbon to the back of a jewelry holder, replace a doorstop, fix a dent in the wall and cabinet, replace a worn heel on a pair of flat shoes, dome ring holder, hook for jewelry in the bathroom and so much more.

Sugru is SUCH a versatile product.  I find myself looking for ways to use it. All the projects I have done seem to hold. When you are done with something its super easy to remove as well. This could be great for apartment dwellers, renters, or even those with less than stellar home repair skills.

Simply Earth subscription box review and giveaway!

Simply Earth sent me their March subscription box! $39 a month and you get all this!!!!!! The oils alone are worth at least $50! The site says their oils are 100% pure.

This box contains melt and pour soap base, two 5 ml drams, 2 soap molds, recipe cards, and 5 essential oils (Bergamot, Anise, Wintergreen, Patchouli, and a blend of tranquility). There are also two labels for your dram diffuser blends, but I misplaced them.

Simply Earth donates 13% of their profits to end human trafficking. That's quite a way to give back.

Simply Earth does a fantastic job of providing full size oils that can be used in future boxes or other creations that you choose. How fun! I would like to see other recipes on their site categorized by the months box. That would be great to have other recipes based on the oils received.

Check out my Facebook live video making the Citrus Soothing Oatmeal soap above

I also made Facebook lives for the Orange Cream Exfoliating Soap,  and Citrus Woods Exfoliating Soap. I didn't think this would smell like citrus, but apparently the Tranquility blend has orange in it. :) This is one of my favorites of the four soaps.

I originally thought these were unknown boxes each month, but it looks like you can check it out on the website. Then you can decide if you want to skip a month.

Be Green packaging review

BeGreen Packaging sent me a selection of their compostable/recycled containers. These are much like what food companies use to prepackage food. Only, now you can prepackage your own lunch and feel like you are eating out!
Don't these lunches look fabulous? I'm getting hungry just thinking about them. I love the fact that these are using recycled material and they are a better choice than plastic that can leach into your food. Just remember not to microwave the lid! BeGreen is great for those who don't want to mess with stainless steel containers, and who are concerned that plastic may leach into their foods.

Even leftovers look amazing in BeGreen packaging!

There are so many uses for these. I make molded chocolates for fun, and you can even make them and send them for teacher appreciation week
